Equity and Inclusion

In Nepal, inequality and exclusion are cross-cutting issues in development. Social exclusion is entrenched in the political, economic, and social fabric of Nepal. People are deprived of their rights on the basis of gender, caste, ethnicity, religion, geographical region, and age. Likewise, there is inequality in resources sharing, recognition, identity, gender, and income. IFS conducts research on those areas for policy recommendations with its partner agencies to improve equity and social inclusion in Nepal.
